Microsoft is planning to hold a press event on September 30 in San Francisco during which it is going to present the major functions of the next version of Windows.

As Microsoft spokesperson told WPCetral, they are going to present the basic public materials and details on Blogging Windows and Microsoft News Center right after the event. Still, the live stream will not be available for the event unlike the number of the previous events including the launch of Office for iPad, also held in San Francisco.
